Behavior Maintenance Programs: Successes, Collaborations, & Future Directions

We are pleased to announce that the American Journal of Health Behavior (http://www.aahb.org) has been selected as the host journal for our Special Issue.  The theme of the Special Issue will be: Behavior Maintenance Programs: Successes, Collaborations, and Future Directions.

The American Journal of Health Behavior’s Editor-in-Chief (Dr. Elbert Glover) and the HMC Special Issue Guest Co-Editors (Drs. Marcia Ory, Matthew Lee Smith, and Nelda Mier) have worked together to develop a 2-phase review process and timeline to facilitate the generation of a quality and timely product.

2.   Please refer to  The HMC Special Journal Issue Timeline: intended to provide you with manuscript submission and review-related deadlines and benchmarks ‘at a glance.’  Please note, the guidelines on this document will be strictly enforced.  Deadlines are subject to change based on the discretion of the Journal’s Editor-in-Chief or Guest Co-Editors.

If you have any questions, please contact the Guest Co-Editors directly.

We are eager and excited about this Special Journal Issue and hope you are too!

Please join us in thanking the National Institutes of Health, particularly the National Cancer Institute, the Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research and the Office of Disease Prevention, for making this opportunity a reality!  On behalf of the HMCRC and all HMC Sites, THANK YOU for your guidance and support for this Special Issue.  We greatly appreciate you enabling us to highlight efforts and successes of the HMC!

The updated prospectus, and updated abstracts are also available.
